Editing and publishing department began its work as a business unit of the V.M. Gorbatov All-Russian Meat Research Institute (VNNIMP) of Rosselkhozacademia from the first years of the Institute creation. The department is engaged in the publishing activity of VNNIMP: edition of books, monographs and other non-periodical editions of the branch format; selection of the materials of the scientific, advertising and production character; writing of the information articles and interviews; subscription to and distribution of the journal "All about meat - the theory and practice of meat processing".

The journal "All about meat - the theory and practice of meat processing" has been issued by the editing and publishing department since 1998 and is a peer-reviewed journal included in the list of the Supreme Attestation Commission (VAK) (postgraduate study, doctoral studies). Among our authors are the acknowledged authorities, whose publications are always an event in the scientific world. Journal content is formed from the materials of the scientific workers, heads of enterprises, technologists and IT- specialists working in the field of food industry. Scientific works are obligatorily peer-reviewed by the leading scientists of VNNIMP.

A special feature of the journal "All about meat" is that its content is always topical.
